The
Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has denied any link
with the management, ownership or construction of a magnanimous
structure reported as Whitefield Hotel, Ilorin and which he (the
governor) built from tax payers money.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, Governor Ahmed described as false, mischievous and evil the rumor making the rounds that he reportedly built the said Ilorin Hotel.
According
to the report, Abdulfatah Ahmed, the incumbent governor of Kwara
state, has allegedly “started paying himself pension” before
retirement.

Governor Ahmed has denied the story in its entirety, he therefore, stressed that he remains committed to fulfilling his covenant with the people of Kwara State and refuses to be distracted by fifth columnists ;
