The
management of the foremost brewing firm, Nigerian Breweries Plc
recently got a physical representation of their abstract concepts of
hardwork and dedication when the company was honoured by the Nigerian
Stock Exchange for its outstanding business performance on the floor.
A
trophy, they say is not about the hardware, or gold-painted statue
mounted on marble but the recognition of it being a memento for
excellent achievements. The brewing leader, NBL was rewarded as The
Most Compliant Firm with Corporate Governance on the floor of the
Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE.
Presenting
the plaque of the prestigious honour is the NSE's CEO, Oscar Onyeama
who noted that Nigerian Breweries Plc has performed creditably well
to merit the 2015 CEO recognition award. Nicolaas Vervelde, MD/CEO,
NB Plc received the award with Mark Rutten, NBL's Finance Director
while Haruna Jalo- Waziri, Executive Director, Capital Markets
Division and Mr. Kufre Ekanem, Corporate Affairs Adviser, NB Plc look
on.
