Defection Tsunami In Akwa Ibom As Gov. Akpabio Loyalist Move 5000 To APC

The hope of the Akwa Ibom's incumbent governor, Godswill Akpabio to install a successor might be bleak as PDP has again suffered another major defection by losing almost 5,000 supporters to the opposition, in just few days to the gubernatorial and state assembly elections.

According to inside sources, Richard Ndah, the Director of Mobilisation and Contacts of the PDP candidate owned Transformation Initiative for the Empowerment of Ibom People is said to have moved almost 5,000 loyalists working for the actualisation of Udom Emmanuel's governorship dream to the All Progressives Congress.

With this defection, the former Secretary To The State Government and APC gubernatorial candidate, Umana Okon Umana who was booted out of office by Gov. Akapabio on account of being too ambitious might be breathing an air of hope in the Saturday election.

"I think we truly need that change, we need Gov. Akpabio to explain how he spent the 3Trillion Naira he has collected so far during the course of his 8 years reign", Ndah, a fulfilled Clearing and Forwarding guru and managing director of AkwaPort Nigeria Limited told the defecting loyalists last night.

Richard Ndah who hails from Mkpat Enin local government of Akwa Ibom State will be leading 5000 loyalists of the association run by Udom Emmanuel's childhood friend, Ephraim Inyang to join the APC today.
