Sad Friday! One Of The Oshadipe Twins Dies!

One of the replica Oshadipe twins, Taiwo to be precise is dead. The petite and beautiful music star was nursing her baby of close to two years when she died this morning, Friday October 3^rd, 2014.

The velvet voiced Oshadipe twins are very industrious ladies who have been in the industry for a while. They’re both graduate and have done everything to keep their shoulders high. Taiwo got pregnant to yet an unknown man but the duo has since been coping with taking care of the baby on their own, in their apartment somewhere in Oko Oba , Abule Egba area of Lagos state.

The twins are very quiet and chose the events they attend. They both performed at the 2013 Miss Global Nigeria show which held at Bespoke Events Centre, Lekki, Lagos and at that material time, Taiwo’s baby was just months old when they sneaked in to honour the organizers.

We’re still getting more information as for the cause of death. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.  

Breaking! Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau Resurfaces, Says, “Am Alive!”

This is rather too unbelievable! For the second or third time, the strong man of the deadly Boko Haram insurgents, Abubakar Shekau must have once again fooled the whole Nigerian nation and of course the Jonathan-led federal government if the latest report about his being alive is actually true.
 

Abubakar Shekau, we gathered has released a 36 minutes recorded video of himself in action at the dreaded camp and the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, we gathered is laying claims to be in possession of the footages.

According to snippets from the video, Shekau is said to have made a mockery of the Nigerian Army saying “here I am, am alive, I’ll only die the day Allah takes my breath, we’re running our…Islamic caliphate and administering Sharia punishments”, he was quoted to have said.

It would be recalled however that the Nigerian Army had days back claimed that a high-ranking insurgent posing as Shekau had been killed in a serious gun dwell in Konduga, a Borno community and a pictorial evidence showing the body of the man being mercilessly maimed was shown to the world as a proof thereby leaving the Nigerian nation to jubilation and sort of relief to the beginning of the end of insurgents..

The question now is, ‘WHO’S FOOLING WHO”. Time will tell.

An Open Letter To Comptroller General Of Customs, Dikko Inde Abdullahi

This is an urgent letter to the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Mr. Dikko Inde Abdullahi on the corrupt activities of his men, especially along Idiroko, Iju, Ota, axis of Ogun State, Nigeria.

It is sad and pertinent to know that there’s no respect for hierarchy in the Nigerian Customs Service as a recent SoS calls to some top notch of the organization yielded nothing but a more criminal actions from the men of the service thereby giving credence to the believe that, the service is filled with birds of same feather flock together.

Few days ago, precisely on Tuesday, September 23^rd, 2014, there was an SoS call from an innocent trader whose truck load of fish was impounded by the men of the Customs service around Onibukun area shortly before Winners Chapel church, Iju, Ogun State and swiftly we got these numbers: 08023633606, 08033121408 and 08034133478 which we believe belong to the Comptroller at Tin Can Island, Customs’ Public Relations’ Officer and the head of the Idiroko border respectively.

The crush of the matter was that, these Customs men ambushed the woman’s truck carrying just a 100 cartons of Kote and Titus fish and they demanded that she pay N400,000 cash for duty. Our checks revealed that, frozen fish especially Kote and Titus are not part of the prohibition list rolled out by the Federal Government of Nigeria and more so, these items were bought in an open market duly receipted and it is in lieu of this that, we spoke to these top officers to help salvage the situation.

All these supposed top notched officers promised to wade in and call the men at Iju to order but alas, none of them could do anything as the corrupt officers threatened to destroy the perishable goods (the fish) if the woman refused to pay, at this time, the truck had been seized for more than 8 hours and the fish were getting spoilt already leaving the woman frustrated and with the fear of the unknown.

She was left with no option than to part with N100,000, adding more cost and liability to her goods, and this is even with her kneels to the ground before they could release the truck for her at the wee hours of the evening.

I am using this medium to inform the Comptroller of Customs, in person of Mr. Dikko Inde Abdullahi to take charge of this matter and fish-out these men who perpetrated the act on this day, get the illegal bribe off them and brought them to book.

I hope that, this request will be taken up promptly so as to proof your revered office to having zero tolerance for corruption.
