Rochas Okorocha's Frantic Last Minute Moves

There are indications that the governor of Imo State,  Rochas Okorocha is making drastic moves to save face over what could be termed as his political logjam.

According to inside sources, the perceived strong man of Imo politics who has been trying frantically to plant his own candidate as successor for the next election seems to have gone so desperate that, he's been lobbying to have his way by all means.

The governor, this office learnt recently approached APGA executives with a view to induce them to giving him soft landing but all were to no avail, the source told us.

Quoting the highly dependable source,  governor Okorocha is said to have dangled a largesse to the tune of N3B but his offer was rejected, "he's been trying to lobby his way through but Uche Onyegocha and co rebuffed his offer".

According to sources,  Gov. Obiano of Anambra state stepped in and promised to fund APGA in Imo as long as they have nothing to do with Rochas.

Rumour has it that Rochas is now very desperate and will do anything to actualize his pipe dream of installing his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu as governor in 2019 and is desperately looking for a political platform.

We gathered that the man has allegedly been able to use his connection to get the Imo State Commissioner of Police replaced by the help of the IGP last week, and plans,  we learnt are also in motion to change the current DSS boss.
