TARABA GOV DANBABA SUNTAI BUYS HELICOPTER…NOW FLIES HIMSELF AROUND

If there is anything the executive governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Danbaba Suntai  can break a bank for according to sources within the government office, then it would be aircraft and flying.  Danbaba Suntai’s love for aircraft and flying we reliably squealed is so serious and this obsession, we gathered  has almost allegedly run the state aground. The governor who got into power in May 2007, within a short time, acquired two aircrafts parked in Kaduna since the airport in Jalingo, the state capital was not conducive though the sum of N9Billion was allegedly later spent on Jalingo Airport and till date the airport still can’t land the smallest airplane let alone commercial ones.  In his first term, governor Danbaba acquired another small aircraft for the State. By last year 2011 he had added a second, but none of them can still land. The latest gist however is the acquisition of a helicopter at the cost of over 1billion Naira last month, May by the Governor. According to our findings, the State held a fishing festival at Ibbi town about two months back, and during the festival, the governor hired a helicopter which took him to the fishing festival. After the festival, he pleaded with the pilot to spend more time in the state to teach him how to fly the chopper.  Before then, we learnt that, Danbaba had spent quality time despite his tight schedule as governor, attending the Aviation College in Jos, as well as another training school in America to learn how to fly. So after the fishing festival, Governor Danbaba took delivery of the helicopter. According to sources, he has built a helipad inside the Government House so that he could fly the chopper out and in by himself, without having to drive through the town of Jalingo. We gathered that ever since he took delivery of the helicopter, Danbaba has been flying it himself, at times, just for leisure and sightseeing in the state capital. To those who live around the Government House, they could only but grumble over the noise from the Governor’s take off and landing. We were told that since he brought in the helicopter, Governor Danbaba hardly travels round the State in his official cars, preferring the chopper. Meanwhile, the state is reeking in bankruptcy as the Governor has taken loans from banks to build airstrips in his village, plus the three aircraft he  bought as well as keeping the Jalingo runway functional. Based on this, once the state allocation get to the banks, the financial institutions deduct their loans before leaving whatever that remains for the government. Because of this, the day to day government business is run based on new loans from banks.

1st Lady, Dame Patience Snatches Turai Yar` Adua`s Land In Abuja

Reports available to this office shows that the Minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed  has been fingered in land scam which may now pose a show down between him and the Former First lady Hajiya Turai Yar’Adua over who owns a land which is situated within the heart of the town at the Central Business District Abuja .  Enquirer gathered that the rage over the plot of land began when the FCT however revoked the land title ownership which was given to an NGO named Women And Youth Empowerment Foundation (WAYEF) and which also is being funded by Hajiya Turai, but the alleged land grabbing of the FCT Minister surfaced back when the said land were relocated to another organization known as African First Ladies Peace Centre, and according to findings It`s being financed by First lady, Dame Patience Jonathans. It was exclusively revealed that recently the Minister may have fallen out with the First Lady, and all these alleged land grabbing and racketeering may be another way of pacifying the First Lady which she may not be aware of. According to what we gathered, documents of the land indicated that the said land which is situated at Central Area close to ThisDay Dome was issued and allocated to the NGO (WAYEF) on 19^th February 2010, however in a shocking way, another document which was dated August 11, 2008 emerges from the FCT government, showing that the same plot of land has been indeed allocated earlier to the African First Ladies Peace Centre. However, the said organization being funded by Turai, we learnt indeed seek a legal redress and filed a suit  at an Abuja High Court which also was to challenge the deeds f the FCT administration, which has turned a blind eye to the ongoing construction. However, in a recent ruling, which was delivered by Justice Peter Affen, we gathered that an injunction which ordered the FCT to hold back all parties from any further activities at the site was given. However, the former 1^st lady was said to be baffled when after only two weeks of the said injunction was issued, people working for the  African First Ladies Peace Centre  has started work again on the crisis ridden land which now compel counsel to Turai to as a matter of urgency filed contempt proceedings against the FCT Minister Senator Bala Mohammed and also the Attorney-General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke; Abuja Geographic Information System (AGIS); and the Federal Capital Territory Administration were joined in the suit. According to the lawyer representing the former First lady in the suit, they claimed that the organization had gotten all the necessary prerequisites which made them to have approval of owing the land, and also paid a total sum of N166 million of the constitutional N184million in September 2011, to the Abuja Geographic Information System (AGIS) for the right of occupancy of which the remaining balance of  N18million was paid in November 2011. In spite of the said payments the land was however revoked by the FCT and even though the land C of O of August 2008 which was given to the African First Ladies Peace Centre had specified that the land was to be used only for ‘‘public institution,’’ the centre is not listed in any official document as an agency, department or parastatal of the federal government, but according to the letter of revocation and which was dated November 2, 2011 and signed by one   Mrs. Asma’u Mukhtar on behalf of the FCT Minister the land title was revoked ,“due to an overriding public interest.” In the same vein, another letter of revocation was also issued to the African First Ladies Peace Centre by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory signed by Mrs. Asma’u Mukhtar and also dated November 2, 2011. Subsequently, the court granted the prayers of the plaintiff and orders thus: ‘‘I will and do hereby record an order of interlocutory injunction restraining the defendants whether individually or collectively from taking any action or step that adversely affects the title, rights and interests over and the said piece of land pending the determination of this suit.”

Miss Nigeria Board Sacks Nike Oshinowo! The Intrigues, The Boardroom Politics Reigning Queen, Feyijinmi Breaks Down, “Am so confused”

There`s every indication that all is not well in the leadership of the nation`s oldest pageantry project, Miss Nigeria beauty contest owned by the Daily Times of Nigeria as the board has turned around to withdraw the hosting rights from the ex-beauty Queen, Chief (Mrs.) Nike Oshinowo Soleye who revived it from interregnum.

According to sources, the hosting right of Miss Nigeria has been withdrawn from Nike Oshinowo and the board of Daily Times made up of men have been holding meetings with the reigning Queen, Feyijinmi Sodipo, this much Enquirer can exclusively reveal. We gathered authoritatively that, the crises have been on for several weeks between Chief (Mrs.) Nike Oshinowo-Soleye and the Daily Times board led by Mr. Fidelis Anosike but the parties have been trying to patch up things.

Dependable sources who confided in your soar away magazine, Enquirer revealed that, no one can really say why the Daily Times board decided to sack the ex beauty Queen, Nike Oshinowo who has laboured hard and put all her goodwill on line in making sure that the show got back its lost glory but people in the know are of the opinion that, the board is threatened that, Mrs. Soleye is moving more than they expected and that in no time, she might become uncontrollable for the board.

What another school of thought is saying is that, it is likely that, the woman of substance, Mrs. Soleye might be remitting less than what the Daily Times board expected and the feelings that she`s smiling to the bank might have informed the sudden decision of cutting short her contract on the project.

Who are you talking about ma, the story is directly about your contract with the Miss Nigeria organization and the moment she heard that, she cut off the line and never picked it again.

Then we sought audience with the managing director of Folio Communications, the controversial custodians of Daily Times of Nigeria owners of the Miss Nigeria title, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, in his words, `what do you mean by withdrawing the franchise from Nike Oshinowo, there`s nothing like that, Miss Nigeria is not a franchise company, Nike is part of the Daily Times close associates, she remains part of it if she wants to, so please don`t feed on us, stop writing rubbish about the Miss Nigeria and Daily Times brands, give us the chance to build it, please you guys should look elsewhere to source for scandal, nothing like that here`, he tried to cover up by begging the question.

We went further to talk to the reigning Queen whose ambition of touring the whole nation putting smiles on the faces of orphans through the help of the ministry of culture, tourism & orientation has been frustrated, according to the diploma graduate of Data Processing, Babcock University, the innocent girl who was meant to mark her 22^nd birthday on May 3^rd, 2012 was shocked when her madam called to tell her all is over, “I just couldn`t believe am hearing that, Anti Nike told me it`s all over, then she handed over my car to me and the next thing was the call from the Daily Times management, I`ve had a meeting with them and they told me we have another one next week (this week), look, am so confused, I don’t know what to do” she confessed.

We were told reliably that, Chief (Mrs.) Nike Oshinowo was so pained that she contemplated seeking a legal redress but another source disclosed that, the mistake was hers from the beginning as she was not cautious enough to enter into a proper contractual terms that could span for years, all she did was jumping at it the offer the moment she was approached thinking the gentleman agreement would do and more so the fact that, she`s doing perfectly well to re-build the lost image of the pageant is a yardstick for the organizers to give her a chance.

Actress Anita Joseph 15 Months Old Love Child Controversy “No! I Don’t, He`s My Nephew”, She Cries Out

Curvy and sexy actress and singer, Anita Joseph is sure in the middle of a serious controversy, according to those who know the Igbo born lady like the back of their hands, Anita who`s fondly referred to as Nita J is a proud mother of a 15 months old baby boy, Michael but she has denied this vehemently.

This office gathered exclusively that, Anita gave birth to the baby boy in late 2010 when she suddenly vanished from the public for almost a year and relocated to South Africa under the guise that she was on movie location but people in the know insisted that, the journey was for a nine months course and not professionally inclined.     

                                

Impeccable sources told us that the man responsible for her pregnancy is a handsome baby-faced upcoming musician, Sho`boi Onyemaenu, a Chemical Engineering graduate of the University of Technology, Minna who hails from Abagana, Anambra State. And the baby boy we were told is a perfect replica of his dad even though his mother has been keeping it under wrap. The duo according to sources met just like every other lovers and Sho`boi`s striking appearance coupled with the stylish dreads on his head must have informed Anita`s likeness for him.

The source who`s so sure about happenings between Anita and Sho`boi revealed that, Anita was actually going to Sho`boi`s house somewhere in Ogba in company of the little tot, Michael when her Toyota FJ Cruiser Jeep was snatched by armed robbers and when she granted interviews on the incident, she said the little boy was her nephew.

Tracing the genesis of their relationship, the duo kicked off as facebook friends and were so fond of each other sending “sweet nothing” messages but those close to them informed us that, the show was actually Nita J`s as she was said to have showered the dude with gifts and cash given her control over the relationship.

We gathered further that, no sooner the affair began than Anita got pregnant and efforts to abort it was abortive and when she saw that it was becoming embarrassing after the fifth month, she sneaked out of the country before anyone could notice it in order to manage the shame of giving birth out of wedlock.

We however got in touch with the sexy actress for her side of the story and this are what she told us, “Oga, ah…where did you hear that, the boy is not my baby o, he`s my nephew, in fact there are two of them, David (2 and a half years) and Michael (15 months), they leave with me but not every time.

On her relationship with Sho`boi, she said, “he`s my friend, he was the one writing my songs for a long time, does it mean that when you`re close to someone, then he`s your boyfriend, no, he`s just my friend.

We also asked her why she`s leaving with 15 months old baby without his mum, “they`re both my nephew and most time their mums are always here, Oga do you want me to come to your office to show you my tummy or do you want the pictures bb to you?, she explained.

Though Anita denied having any baby, our sources confirmed and even quoted Sho`boi for saying all he want from her is to use her connections to influence his musical career and not the baby she pinned on him, now the amazing thing is why is she habouring a tot without her mum and why would anybody lie for having a baby. That Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola a.k.a Mo`Cheddah who also prides herself as Africa`s Princess of Pop has walked out of her former management, KnightHouse is not news, what no one is aware of is what gave the career of the female music sensation a nosedive.

Though she`s been telling anyone who cares to listen that, she took a break for a year to pursue varsity studies which she said she`s through with right now and has been working on a new album titled Louder under her own record label, Cheddah Music to drop any moment, pundits have not only challenged her on which kind of Varsity she graduated from in one year, they`ve also scrutinized the real reason behind her predicament with her erstwhile management.    

According to impeccable sources, the young music star who was almost at the peak of her career before she stormed into multiple controversies would have been one of the artistes to beat by now had she not been ill advised or better put got carried away by fame.

The very first scandal which involved her nude picture and allegedly said to have been sent to super rap artiste, Jude Abaga also known as M.I was capable of putting spanner in the works for her musical career but as if that was not enough, the next thing was her confrontational attitude with her management which seemed to be the last straw that broke the camel`s back.

 We learnt that there was this perception that, her manager Rogba of KnightHouse management is also seeing her secretly and this had brought about a kind of clash between Bukunyi and the management during a particular show they had in Ghana. Bukunyi we gathered had boycotted the management and travel with Mo`Cheddah for the Ghana show and bubble burst when the parties met at the event. This was actually the beginning of the break up tales.

After the break up with KnightHouse, Don Jazzy we were told actually contemplated signing on Mo`Cheddah for Maven Records before the Tiwa Savage deal but unfortunately her contract was still running with KnightHouse till the end of the year, 2012 and this was what put a stalemate to her career.

The talented lady, we learnt is back on track but there are insinuations that, her former management might take her on based on one of the new tracks she`s releasing which they say was one of the songs and she`s only making a parody of it.
