Popular TV Gal, Tricia Eseigbe In Husband Snatching Scandal …Hubby Sues UK Wife For Divorce, Disowns Twins

This is one of those perfect story lines that we watch in movies. It is the shocking revelations trailing the three years marriage of a popular TV gal, and actress turned producer of Bold Faces-a celebrity oriented magazine programme that runs on DSTV and probably other terrestrial stations, Tricia Esiegbe-Kerry.
Three years down the lane, after her society wedding that drew notables from the Nollywood industry and also football stars (at least Julius Aghahowa and Celestine Babayaro were there), Mrs. Tricia Esiegbe-Kerry seems to have reasons to face the public and tell them how well she knows the man she married in a colourful gathering of who`s who and in a prestigious venue, Best Southern hotel, Lekki, Lagos sometime in the tail end of 2009.
It is pertinent to know that, at their wedding which had the award winning Nollywood director, Kingsley Omoefe as best man in 2009, the bridegroom, Kingsley Kerry had threatened and warned everybody most especially members of fourth estate of realm that should anybody write any rubbish about him regarding his new contracted marriage, the fellow would not just regret his/her life but sell family properties to pay damages resulting from libel.
In his closing speech at the wedding, Kerry having surveyed his guests round later turned his gaze at the direction of the Nollywood personalities who were sandwiched with invited members of fourth estate of realm and says thus,: I want to tell the press that, if they ever think that they can use our wedding to sell their papers, they`re in for a sucker punch, anybody that write rubbish about my wife and I will go for it, you guys will pay and go to jail, I mean it, you guys will know that, I am a true Edo born”, a quotation from his threats at the wedding three years ago.
And as if that was not enough, the chairman of the wedding that evening in person of Paul Obazele also has this message to pass to the guests, “whoever  makes any attempt to rubbish the union in the papers will go to jail and the families of the fellow would pay dearly for it”, Paul swore. Please read the bromide and full text of our coverage on their wedding three years ago by the right.
This office was fortunate to be one of the few media that covered the society wedding and we were so amazed at the level of caution and cold attitude displayed by the hosts to their guests instead of showing appreciation for honouring the joyous occasion, all these, put together were what gave us the premonition that, there`s more to the marriage than meets the eyes because a clear conscience fears no accusation. We however got the lead that eventually traced our path to what can best be described as another husband snatching tales and a bigamy case.
The dateline was last Thursday, June 28th, 2012 when this lazy reporter found his way to the vicinity of Ikeja High Court and as fate will have it, we saw the very husband of BOLD FACES producer, Tricia  Esiegbe-Kerry coming out of Court 34 in company of a lawyer with an agitating expression. It was the mood that gave him out that, something is definitely amiss, and this was what drove our interest as we began to dig to know why he was in court.
We couldn`t lay our hands on any document on that day but we got it on good authority that it is a case of divorce in which Mr. Kingsley Kerry (Tricia`s husband) is involved. Tried as we could after spending some money without yielding any effort, we called to ask if he has any divorce case in court because we saw him coming out of court 34 and were told the divorce case is his.
And this is his response, “I don’t know what you`re talking about, I don’t have any case and I never gone to any court, maybe not me, please cross check very well, it`s far from the truth”, he told us.
We were however surprised when our dependable source who had promised to get us the documents made available an exclusive court papers which revealed that a Kingsley Agbroje has served one Mrs. Obiageri Agbroje of Flat 12, ZAPOTECH House, Chilton Grove, Rotherhithe, SE 8, 5 EG, London a divorce paper with Suit No.: ID/63HD/2011 to appear before honourable Justice Y. A Adesanya of Court 34 on Thursday, June 28th, 2012.
This gave us a renewed hope and vigour that we`re inching towards breaking another earth shaking story, and the first approach was the initiative to speak to Tricia Esiegbe to see if she`s aware of the divorce case, “Can you please address me properly, am not just Tricia Esiegbe, I am Mrs. Tricia Esiegbe-Kerry, Kerry is my husband name and can I call you back, am actually at STB Mccan to see the Client Service lady for a deal regarding my programme, Bold Faces” , her response when we called her the first time and when we eventually spoke and told her that it looks like her husband is married in the UK with two kids, she denied that fact, “look, there`s nothing like that, at least I know that, this can never move me, my husband and I are always in the U.K and I`ve not encountered anything of such, we travel together every time, do you know that, my mum and siblings live in the UK, am just the only one here, in fact, my husband just came back from Ghana where he`s gone to seal a deal, so nothing like that, I can go to sleep”, she told us with full authority.
We asked her further if she knows her husband as Kingsley C. Agbroje and also aware of one Mrs. Obiageri Agbroje whom he`s likely to be married to in England before her and she told us CAPITAL NO, his other name that I know is Onajite, he`s Kingsley Onajite Kerry and there`s nothing like he`s married or he was married to anyone anywhere under this earth, I am his only wife, and I hope you`re aware that we`re legally married, we did our registry after that traditional you all came for in 2009. So get that into your head, right! Look, remember you guys have done one story about me that I didn’t like, if you make such mistake again, I won`t take it lightly, am dead serious this time.
With this, we knew we have to be very careful so as not to mislead our legion of readers thereby malign the person of hardworking Mrs. Tricia Esiegbe-Kerry and her easy going husband, Kingsley. At first, it looked like a dead end but the thought of the London address Flat 12, ZAPOTECH House, Chilton Grove, Rotherhithe, SE 8, 5 EG, of the respondent, Mrs. Obiageri Agbroje encouraged us to burrow the more.
The investigative adventure, even though capital intensive saw us combing the city of London where we fortunately met Susie who claimed to be a very close friend of Obiageri and told us she`s not home and would not even want to talk to press about anything like that, “yeah, what do you wanna know, am Stephanie`s friend, Obiageri is her native name and she`s not around, Susie told us as she stepped out to start going to her house.
We were however able to talk to Susie who told us that, Kingsley`s full names are Kingsley Kerry Onajite Agbroje and he knows me very well, he`s Stephainie`s (Obiageri) husband and she has two kids for him, Michaela 9 and Jamie 6, a boy and a girl. And that`s not all, do you know that another Jamaican girl, Alesha also had a set of lovely twins for Kingsley, I think they`re like 3 years now, Tyrese and Tyrick, anyway that itself is an episode on its own.
Tracing the genesis of their liaison, we gathered reliably that, Obiageri who had always lived in England met Kingsley in one of her holidays to Nigeria in 2001 through a family friend, Chuks Mordi and no sooner they met than the cupid arrow arrested both of them and they got married in 2002. When they were planning for the wedding, Obiageri had to borrow fifteen thousand pounds sterling in England to foot the bills when her fiancé could not take care of the wedding and we also gathered Obiageri who hails from Mbano in Imo State was instrumental to Kingsley`s first ever journey to England including his visa, ticket and accommodation till he got his British Passport before he dumped her in 2009 to marry Tricia Esiegbe.
This office was so curious to demand why the poor woman had kept mum all this while even after hearing that, her husband and father of her two kids had contracted another marriage back home in Nigeria and the reply we got was that, Kingsley had not been a good husband either, even when they were living together in England, he was not providing for the kids, he was always womanizing, at least he got a Jamaican lady pregnant and disowned the twins she had for him, so shouting to the public will be tantamount to looking for a cheap publicity, she has left her for God and Laws of Kamal if there`s any but he was the one who triggered this by coming to drag somebody who has been taking care of the kids singlehandedly for years to court for a divorce, what for, it`s all bullshit, we gathered.
Further investigations on the identity of Tricia Esiegbe`s husband revealed that, the man who hails from Isoko tribe, Delta State worked at St. George`s Hospital, South West London for a while. The divorce case has been adjourned to the 17th of June, 2012 and we learnt no lawyer represented Mrs. Obiageri Agbroje on the first day and Kingsley`s counsel is working on fast tracking the divorce case and some of his prayers is that, the court should dissolve the marriage on the grounds of irreconcilable differences and that, they`ve lived apart for more than two years.
We`ve however resolved to cover the matter on the next adjourned date and planning to have an exclusive interview with Mrs. Obiageri Agbroje in London sometime next week and we shall also follow up on Kingsley and her Lagos wife, Tricia Esiegbe, maybe after they`ve read the story for their own side since they didn`t know what we were talking about when we got in touch with them the first time. Please keep a date for the second part of the life of Kingsley Kerry in London and his deal with the Jamaican lady, Alesha who bore him a set of lovely twins. Please get the print edition for more exclusive pictures and court documents.

Life & Time of Africa`s Greatest Arts Addict, Angela Onyeador …Her Dreams, Beliefs and What She Really Stood For

She will no doubt be remembered for her trail blazing efforts of changing the face of pageantry in the whole of African continent and it will take some time for her impressive records as an artistic symbol and cultural ambassador to be beaten, most especially among the women folks. Even those who know her when she was her charming and elegant self will still see her death as a reverie owing to her personal idiosyncrasies, not just as a jolly good fellow but a lady of honour who lived the best of life till she breathed the last.
That’s Lady Angela Onyeador, one of Africa`s illustrious daughters who has gone to join her ancestors in the great beyond. The beauty personified who was so full of life joined the Saint Triumphant on Sunday, June 17th, 2012 in a U.S hospital after a brief illness.
Her Early Life
She prided herself as a fortunate young girl who had a platinum spoon in her mouth while growing up in a privileged environment exclusively meant for upper cadre executives and revered expatriates who worked in Shell as at then, “Look, am grateful to God for the kind of upbringing we had, my parents, Sir. Alexander and Lady Beatrice Onyeador were part of the few black people living in Shell camp in Port Harcourt then and this gave me a great opportunity to mingle with top people. It will interest you to know that, as a young girl I learned to speak Dutch from my peers who were also pupils even though we were not attending same classes, our school was such that, they taught the blacks and British pupils in English and Dutch for Germans, so all my life, I`ve lived quality life with quality people, she had told us in one of our chats years back. Well cultured and well read, after her primary education in the Shell camp, she proceeded to the prized Queens College, Lagos, where she discovered her talent and bias for the arts – fine art and music. She wanted a career in the arts but her parents insisted such courses were not befitting enough. She thus enrolled at the Slade School of Arts, University College, London, where she eventually bagged a degree in Psychology.
Limelight
A.O as she preferred to be addressed became a public person when after her studies in England tried to organize a beauty pageant, “I am the first to put a real face to this beauty pageant thing they`re doing now, I did a beauty pageant in the early 80s and the success was all over the place, and that was when everybody wanted to know what makes that Angela tick, the Queen then was Diana Ndoye, it was a big show, she said with her tiny but well accented voice.
The Big Break
The society queen who hails from Arochukwu, Abia State cut her teeth in public relations and according to her, one of the very first jobs she got was a CBN contract in 1986 which made her smiled to the banks, it was a calendar job she got from one of her close friends whom she said she was ever grateful to. And no sooner she finished that, than the coast cleared and the rest was history.
Private Life
The woman of substance never liked to discuss anything about her private life, she`s a lively fellow whose dream was to touch lives which she did. Be that as it may, it will be worthy of mention to say something about these nice people passionately spoke about as people who had touched her life at one time or the other and it was obvious she cannot forget them, even in her grave. She spoke about Alhaji Garuba Style whom was like her first love, then the former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Alhaji Mayaki, the late Senate President, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo before she met the man who stood by her through thick and thin, Captain Sam Mayson, her hubby who`s the elder brother of a Liberian diplomat of international repute, Ambassador Mayson.
Her Siblings
A.O had 2 sisters and a boy but her only surviving sister is Mrs. Ebele Onyeador-Egolum who live in Festac, Lagos. Her eldest sister who died last year, Stella was married to the late Biafran war Lord, Chief Odimegwu Ojukwu.
Her Regret In Life
The symbol of beauty sure did not have any spare time to start to think of her past mistake or what someone has done to wrong her but if there`s anything she did not stop talking about, it was her bad experience at the Miss World pageant where she lost so much money. There`s no need to open can of worms now but the episode led to her selling one of her major properties in London because of her indebtedness to HSBC. Aside that, she also lost some of her greatest art works which she had flew to England when the Miss World pageant was stopped to hold in Nigeria. The idea was for A.O to show case those art works to make some money and the business had warranted her borrowing lots of money from HSBC with her London home as collateral.
Her Worth
The late A.O was very connected and influential, despite her monumental loss at the Miss World pageant in London, an incident that saw her even spending more in the law suit against Julia Morley, Miss World chairperson, the late Stella Obasanjo and the local promoters of the pageant in Nigeria, she then pulled her resources together and bounced back. She got back on her feet by assessing her shares, jewelries and also some of her properties here and there and she was able to stock her gallery back. Till she died, AO is still very rich both in cash and material acquisition, as she once confided in yours truly in one of our conversations that, “haba, wetin we dey eat, see you what are you talking about, that whether am broke, no never, I have enough even to take me till the rest of my life if I don`t work or what are you thinking”, she said as she laughed hysterically to erase that funny idea of her being broke.
Her Fulfilled Dream
Of course, the avid collectors of paintings and arts lived a fulfilled life. Having discovered herself as a bold courageous goal getter, she thought of founding Africa Foundation For Arts, it`s an NGO aimed at preaching anything of African heritage aside from promoting arts and expensive paintings. There`s no gain saying that her gallery is one of Africa`s biggest.   The fashion aficionado actually set out to write her name in gold as one of the promoters of arts and culture and more evidently, this was apparent through her strong tilt to Afro-centrism in her fashion sense; like stepping out in series of gorgeous beautiful dresses made from adire and other local fabrics that she wore with self-confidence. Her signature hairstyle of hand weavon always stood her out in the crowd and she was always the cynosure of all eyes at most events. Her beauty was both charismatic and enchanting, that men with no guts would never want to look at her eye ball to eye ball.
 Inside Her Will
Not so many people are aware that, the late Lady Onyeador is survived by 2 adopted children, Albert 25 and Adaora 23 who`re undergraduates of Babcock University but it’s a story she would not want to tell herself but towards the later part of her illness, she must have thought about her heiress as she kept talking about Ebele Ojukwu whom she was calling and probably must have shared some personal secrets with. A.O was so fond of Ebele and the affinity between them and what she told me about her is a story for another day.
Her Last Companions
There are few important people, who stood by her during her last moments, and one of these is her husband, Capt. Sam Mayson who did everything humanly possible to make her live, this quiet achiever tried his best by taking her abroad for a combination of naturopathic and conventional medical interventions for her ailment; they were in Austria, and Spain for various treatments and she was quite better before it relapsed again and they had to leave for the US where she eventually succumbed to fate. Another of her very good friend who was on her bedside with Mayson is Sister Bintu, a Serria Leonia who had been her long standing pal, in fact no one knows much about A.O`s properties and investment more than her.

Gov. Kwakwanso`s Son, Mustapha Quizzed By SSS!

Information recently made available to us through sources close to the happenings within the government house in Kano State reveal that the eldest son of the State`s Governor, Mustapha Kwankwaso was quizzed by agents of the State Security Service [SSS] over a drug induced drunken altercation with an Imam and the men of the Joint Task Force [JTF] at Kundila along Maiduguri road in Kano State recently. The incident occurred on Sunday June 17, 2012 at Kundila along Maiduguri road at 1pm when Mustapha who`s in his mid-twenties drove in a Honda vehicle [aka Discussion Continues] with two other friends and arrived at a traffic congestion caused by a JTF checkpoint. The restless Mustapha, we gathered, instead of taking his time maneuvered the vehicle into the other lane facing the oncoming traffic in attempts to beat the traffic congestion caused by the JTF team. Unfortunately for the young man, as he steered the vehicle violently into the other lane and began racing in a manner deemed reckless, he was said to have nearly struck down an Imam of a nearby Mosque at a nearby housing estate. But the Imam was said to have ran into the sidewalk to save his dear life. The people nearby who saw what had happened rushed to the aid of the Imam. As residents were comforting the Imam who is said to be well known in the area, the silverspoon lad, we learnt stormed out of his power ride in anger but couldn`t compose himself, he was too drunk to stand up right “his speech was somehow” and the “boy looked so dazed with bloodshot eyes”. It was evident that the bluish green colour of his tongue gave him out as an addict of a new version of drug popular among these well-to-do youths. He rained curses, lambasted and threatened to hand over the Imam to the JTF men as a Boko Haram suspect. And as if that was not enough, Mustapha we were told went to the trunk of his car and brought out a pistol when onlookers tried to reinforce to safe the Imam whom he had insulted but for the quick intervention of an SSS officer who informed the JTF team nearby, the angry mad boy would have possibly pulled the trigger. Even he almost had his way with the JTF men as he introduced himself as the governor`s son and would like the Imam dealt with but the SSS officer who had witnessed the entire brouhaha signaled to the JTF and briefed them everything that has transpired. The SSS officer, we learnt took over the matter and detained the Governor’s son at the Kundila roundabout and alerted the director of SSS. Trust your dear nation, the boy began to make calls and before you knew it, directives had come from powers that be and the boy was only cautioned and asked to report to the office of the director of SSS at a later date.

Sen. Bala Mohammed`s Looting Jamboree of FCT Abuja

The looting of the collective treasury belonging to the federal union of Nigeria has continued to enjoy a celebrated silence inside the corridors of power of the federal capital territory [FCT] Abuja as the Minister of the FCT Abuja jamborees on the sudden wealth gotten through the illegal revocation of land from common citizens for sale to highly placed politicians in return for quiet but handsome payday.  Information disclosed to this office indicates that Senator Bala Mohammed has re-baptized the office of the Minister of FCT Abuja to a private looting affair for his family members and friends. Prior to Senator Bala Mohammed’s accession to the seat of FCT as Minister, the conditions around his friends and immediate family reflected an upper middle-class standing on a financial status under the Nigerian financial rating scale. His brother, Multakar was unemployed and idle, one of his other brother, Bappah Muhammed, who is presently a staff at the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN] was idle, another of his brother, Adamu Yahaya [elder brother] was a former customs officer who was financially weak, and the younger brother to his [Bala Mohammed] wife was unemployed and idle. The recently sacked Chief of State to the FCT, Musa Umar Yashi- did not own a property in Abuja FCT. But all that has changed. With merely a few years at the top of affairs at the FCT Ministry, the financial conditions took a rapid change – the type that should aroused the investigative attention of the economic and financial crimes commission [EFCC] and other anti-graft agencies. On the first level, the brother presently employed as a staff at the CBN is reported to have since erected an estate in Bauchi within the span of time that Senator Bala Mohammed became the FCT Minister. The estate, according to the source, is called Gubi Housing Estate. Multakar, the unemployed idle brother without an income is reported to have also erected a ‘mini’ estate in Fadan Mada located opposite the former deputy governor’s house. Adamu Yahaya, the former custom officer, recently purchased a house in Bauchi from the former Speaker of the Bauchi State of Assembly at the price tag of N70million. Bala Mohammed’s wife’s younger brother, on his part, has since become the owner of six standard mega filling stations in Bauchi State. The Personal Assistant to the FCT Minister, Bala Gar, also partook in the looting jamboree. He recently purchased a home valued N60million in Bauchi metropolis. But none of the symptoms of the looting jamboree quite presents itself boldly as the broad day actions of the recently sacked Chief of Staff, Musa Umar Yashi. Authoritative information reveals that Musa Yashi who was the closest associate of the FCT Minister had engaged and executed many of the shady deals for the FCT Minister. The Chief of Staff was reported to be the Minister’s point man. The FCT Minister’s point-man recently completed the purchase of N1.1billion house in Maitama Abuja at 36 Maideira Cresent [See Pictures]. In addition to the exorbitant price paid for Maitama house, a recent in-house investigation turned up N7billion discovered hidden in the Access Bank account of the Chief of Staff. The outcome of the said in-house investigation remains unknown. But the Minister to the FCT was reported to have sacked the Chief of Staff on Monday July 2, 2012 following what insiders at the Minister’s office indicate was the result of the excesses of political baggage weighing on the person of the Chief of Staff. In essence, the Chief of Staff was becoming too ‘dirty’ for the image of the FCT Minister who is said to be preparing for the gubernatorial race in Bauchi State come 2015. The FCT Minister, on his part, has been caught with his hand in the kitty on numerous occasions – as he has clandestinely managed illegal revocation of lands in FCT Abuja from innocent would-be homeowners to top politicians and their wives. As we gathered, the FCT Minister had utilized the power of his office to revoke certificate of ownerships of numerous landowners in the Apo area of the FCT – and has transferred ownership to the 1st lady. The revoked area is being erected upon with luxury row of apartments – allegedly built for the 1st lady by the FCT Minister. Meanwhile the political climate at his home constituency in Bauchi south district appears to be heating up to problematic levels.  One of the elder statesman of the state commented bitterly on the activities of the FCT Minister as wanting. It was disclosed the FCT Minister, has woefully failed to make his impact felt in both the FCT and the north-east sub-region that he represents in the federal executive council.  FCT Minister has brought shame and disappointment to many of Yuguda’s supporters who voted him to the senate against a more credible candidate, Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu. We have regretted voting for Bala Muhammed and we shall not repeat that mistake again. And as an FCT Minister, he has brought more hatred to the Jonathan administration than love and support despite the efforts of the President to achieve his transformation agenda“ a source added. It was alleged that the only achievement of the FCT Minister in the open is his determination to enrich members of his family and those of his wives against service delivery to the FCT residents.
