The sovereignty of the federal
republic of Nigeria might be under serious threat if signals from the looming
trouble are anything to go by. The Field Operation Unit of the Nigeria Customs
today intercepted some containers fully loaded with assorted riffles and other
sophisticated weapons while on their way out of the Lagos port to the Eastern
part of the country.
According to information pieced
together as at the time of filing this report, these firearms lading containers
were said to have been officially inspected, cleared and released by the men of
the Apapa quay in Lagos before the FOU intercepted them on their way.
National Enquirer gathered reliably
that, this has been generating serious headache between the customs top hierarchy
as the Comptroller General of the customs is shocked to the marrow. Below are
