The
leader of the Movement For The Emancipation of Niger Delta, Charles Okah must
have escaped in Kuje prison if information at our disposal is anything to go
by. Charles, who’s the blood brother of Henry Okah, jailed convener of same
militancy group, Movement For The Emancipation of Niger Delta, we gathered
fought his way out of the prison where he was awaiting trial over his
involvement in the Abuja bombing that claimed lives.
According
to a report, one of the prison inmates was said to have revealed that Mr. Okah, who had been on trial in Abuja for the 2010
Independence Day bombing that killed 27 people, escaped last night by simply
scaling the prison walls around 7:30pm. The unrepentant militant leader was
said have escaped in company of another prison inmate. A massive manhunt has
commenced to find and rearrest him. When this office got in touch with one of the warders, he confided in us that, there's actually a jail-break last night but he's not sure the MEND leader is among those that escaped.
