Popular ‘Pikin’ Crooner, DSmart Drops Another Hit, Abobby

He has been on top of his game
but steadily and quietly for years. He’s that type of fantastic artiste who
prefers to take his time and tread softly until he gets to the top where he
belongs. But that notwithstanding, his singles have always been a hit which
shows he knows his craft when it comes to dishing out good music. His name is
Darlington Smart also known with stage name Dsmart. He is what one will call an
all rounder entertainer; a musical artiste, music producer, song writer and an
event planner. He is also a voice for the youth as he combines both his music
and comedy to affect the youths positively. Dsmart is known for hit songs such
as the popular Pikin, I want to drink small stout” ”Oga” which topped charts in
2008/2009 because of the comedy that comes with the music. The artiste who has
been underground is currently in the studio working on his second album titled
“Still Standing” and he promises his fans that the wait will be worth the while
when the album finally drops. In a matter of days, he will drop a new single
“Abobby One” in anticipation of the new album. We also understand he has done
collaborations with other great artistes such as dancehall kings like Timaya,
Duncan Mighty, Frank D’Nero and a few others still in the pipeline. Dsmart’s
music cuts across many genre of music such as Naija Urban, Music Comedy,
R&B, Afro-Hip Hop and many more which makes it something for everyone in
love with any good music. He is one artiste who has paid his due in the
entertainment industry both as a stakeholder and as an artiste and has come to
stay. We can’t wait.
