Chanceline Kangayani, popularly addressed as Cici Qween by friends and family, a 19 year old Psychology student from Democratic Republic of Congo is the 16th Miss Africa Queen in the Republic of Ireland 2015
Chanceline won the
16th edition of the prestigious Miss Africa Ireland beauty pageant which
held last Saturday, November 14th, 2015 at The Gresham Hotel on O'Connell Street,
Dublin 1, Republic of Ireland.
The gorgeous lucky
teenager dazzled the audience and particularly the judges in her unusual
traditional attire to showcase the Congolese fashion lifestyle. She walked
tall to beat other stunning and intelligent contestants from other African
countries such as Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria and Malawi to mention but a few.
The beautiful
teenager will be championing the Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Ireland Teen
Strive project. Also pencilled to work on the pet project with the Queen are
the 1st and 2nd runners-up, Nadine Khalifa and Anne Murugi from
Egypt and Kenya respectively.
The African Top
Model 2015 was awarded to Miss Peace Olaniyi, a 21 year old, Architectural
student from Nigeria. The star studded
event was attended by crème de la crème of the Irish community amongst who were
Robert Dowds TD, HRH Eze Emeka Ezeani, Lisa Walsh, Patrick Akpoveta and a host
others.
The annual Miss
Africa Ireland is a beauty and fashion show put together by Tina Tinuke
Akinola-Jinad of Tritees Promotions to showcase and celebrate the unique
fashion, beauty and diverse cultures of the African people in
Ireland.
